Leer

Once was
an egg
that cupped
between palms
hinged over
sink, cracked
apart was
recongealed
and taken
to be
a piece of
shell or
yolk juice
no fool
but he
could muster.

Once irrevoked
never that
shell cracked
lost in sink
but only
dead yolk
yoked
between
his skins
whilst
rains beat
or sands
squiny
eyes sewn
back to
look.

Seg? No.

Yes, they
innerprison
the Thing
or mistrue
to verify

under
the mouth
sense is
mugged
or mute

silence
gagged
with
name

or only
sometimes
they O
their pout
or slit cheeks
with cry
that
sound dead

in mother’s
arms

swaddling
spouts

sense slips
round

it all
